| The stunning and dramatic Northumberland coastline has a great many attractions and activities in store for visitors to Northumberland. Perfectly situated in the quiet village of Dunstan, near the fishing village of Craster, is Beech Cottage, a self catering Northumberland holiday cottage which comprises all the home from home comforts and forms the ideal base from which to explore the coast and all the historic and rural sights of Northumberland.

Up to four persons can be accommodated comfortably within the cottage which has two bedrooms; a double and twin room with full size bunk beds. Classic accommodation in a contemporary style, the modern open-plan lounge and kitchen area incorporates a television with VHS and DVD and utilities which include an oven and hob, washer/dryer, microwave and kettle.

A comfortable warm space, the cottage benefits from underfloor heating and the bathroom features a bath and shower.

The village of Craster is within easy walking distance of the cottage and there are a great many local sites to explore, such as the remarkable Dunstanburgh Castle, set on a cliff top. Other notable Northumberland historic castles and sights such as Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick Castle are a short drive away.

The town of Alnwick presents an array of shopping, dining and leisure time possibilities. Guests may prefer to enjoy a romantic walk on the many beaches or indulge in some more strenuous activities such as the many water sports, cycling and walking opportunities Northumberland provides.

Also available locally are fishing and golf and one of the proprietors of Beech Cottage is Mick Oxley, a Northumberland artist who can provide art tuition if desired.
